Seedfunders
Founded by venture capital veterans Dave Chitester and Irv Cohen and comprised of over 40 seasoned industry experts across the state of Florida, Seedfunders is an early-stage investment firm that is shifting the paradigm of seed investing. Seedfunders comes to the table earlier than conventional seed-stage venture groups, bridging the critical gap between friends & family rounds and the point at which startups traditionally see the first professional money.
The Seedfunders Opportunity Fund was created to empower the Black entrepreneurial community in Florida. Through ‘friends and family’ stage investments and mentoring, Seedfunders will do a small part to fill the gap created by decades of systemic racism. The convertible note investments will help new technology companies create a minimum viable product.
